We have made the tough decision to reschedule tomorrow's Monty the Monstar’s Colour & Slime event. 

We have had a bit of drizzle for our events in previous years, but this rain seems entrenched. It takes at least 3 hours to set-up which will not be fun in the rain. While I’m sure the students will still have fun, they will be saturated and cold, and the oval will be worse for wear, particularly with the cross-country coming up. 

The new date will be decided at the next P&F meeting in Term 2. Please reassure your children that the event will still go ahead, it will just be later in the year. 

Special thanks to Crystal Lloyd for all her work in planning the course – finer weather will certainly do it more justice. Thanks to all the people who have volunteered supplies and to our wonderful parent group who have cleared some time to be there. Cheers to all those who have donated to the fundraising side of the event and thanks to Mrs P, Mrs Mac and school staff for supporting this event.

So, while the event has been postponed, the fundraising continues!!

I have been in touch with Australian Fundraising - we have extended the closing date and will arrange an end-date when we decide on it!!

Prizes for the highest fundraiser in the school and the highest fundraiser class are on offer. Depending on how much your child raises, they can choose from a great range of incentive prizes or donate towards some great causes. The school will also benefit from the money going towards some projects to benefit our kids.
